PRESENTATION OF CHRONOS ART PRODUCTIONS 

Based in Athens and Brussels, CHRONOS ART PRODUCTIONS is a specialist in artistic events, organization and production, management, advertising and public relations of artists. Our history starts in 1992 in Brussells and gets continued in Athens since then.

The elevation of Greek Culture in Europe is the keystone around which CHRONOS ART PRODUCTIONS is activated with passion and success.

CHRONOS ART PRODUCTIONS has successfully accomplished hundreds of productions in Greece and the largest European countries, in all open, closed and ancient theatres. Chronos Art Productions has made collaborations with the most reliable artistic agencies abroad and has presented to the audience the greatest Greek and foreign composers, singers and bands.

CHRONOS ART PRODUCTIONS plans and promotes the European Tour of Haris Alexiou in 1993. In 1995, "CHRONOS ART" organizes for the second consecutive time, the memorable Tour of Haris Alexiou in Europe with 9 intermediate stopovers, starting in London and then in Düsseldorf, Brussels, Paris, Munich, Stuttgart, the Berlin, Utrecht, the culminating point of which was the last concert in the Old Opera of Frankfurt.

Many unique moments of the above-mentioned tour have been recorded in the remarkable CD of Haris Alexiou "Gyrizontas ton KosmoTurning".The brightness of an excellent and unique performer in combination with a particular perception and aesthetics of her work is more than successful and gains recognition at European level.

In 1997, CHRONOS ART PRODUCTIONS organizes with an equally unprecedented success the European tour of Eleftheria Arvanitaki, in the largest concert halls of Europe, by her side is Alkinoos Ioannidis. A magical musical journey, a unique performer, from Berlin to Bucharest.

CHRONOS ART PRODUCTIONS IN ATHENS

In 2000 CHRONOS ART PRODUCTIONS takes the important decision to open its offices in Athens too, featuring extremely big concerts, theatric performances, festivals, in the largest and most important places: as an example we can mention “Stadio Eirinis & Filias -the Peace&Friendship Stadium”, Lycabettus theater, the Ancient Odeon of Patras, Katrakio Theatre, Alexander Melathro, the theater Vrahon, and many other spectacular venues throughout Greece.

CHRONOS ART PRODUCTIONS organizes at Katrakio Theatre the first orchestral music Festival entitled "Synantisi Ellinon Deksiotehnon-Meeting of Greek virtuosos". A festival in which were played tunes ranging from rock to folk music, and which was attended by Petros Lucas Halkias, the Mode Plagal, Notios Hxos, the trio with percussion composed of Kourtis Karipis, Pappa, the traditional trio of Yannis Zevgolis, Takis Barberis and the quartet of Anthony Mitzelos.

CHRONOS ART PRODUCTIONS is behind the concept of bringing together the largest and most popular rock band of all time, the legendary "TERMITES". Two remarkable concerts at the Stadio Eirinis & Filias in Piraeus and the Alexandrio Melathro at Thessaloniki. Their friends, Vasilis Papaconstantinou, Yannis Kotsiras, Dionisis Tsaknis, Antonis Vardis, Panos Katsimihas, Giannis Vardis honored those concerts by their presence. What surprised most the public were the spectacular lighting and sound effects that were used for the first time in a Greek concert. These two unique concerts attracted 25 000 spectators. It was two wonderful nights that will remain unforgettable to those who were present. It should be noted that the prestigious music magazine "Difono" ranked the concert of "TERMITES" at the Stadio Eirinis & Filias as one of forty best concerts ever presented in Greece. The aforementioned concert was shown twice by satellite from TV channel ERT around the world!!
A noteworthy success of CHRONOS ART PRODUCTIONS was the distribution of a double collector CD from MINOS EMI of the Concert of "TERMITES" at the Stadio Eirinis & Filias, called 'The Concert' which within a few months became gold.

In May 2000 CHRONOS ART PRODUCTIONS undertakes the organization of the Opening ceremony of the World Peace Conference featuring the great concert of Dimitris Mitropanos at Stadio Eirinis & Filias. This opening ceremony of the World Peace Conference attracted 12,000 spectators. In June 2000 CHRONOS ART PRODUCTIONS handles two major theatrical performances of Ancient Tragedy in Brussels on Euripides' Iphigenia in Tauris "directed by Stavros Tsakiris at the Palais des Beaux-Arts.

Along with the theatrical performances in June 2000 CHRONOS ART PRODUCTIONS presents a unique concert at the Palais des Beaux-Arts in Brussels with the participation of Lavrentis Machairitsas, Margarita Zorbala and Antonis Mitzelos. The result of this artistic collaboration was the release of a collector CD from MINOS - EMI.

 
In June 2000 CHRONOS ART PRODUCTIONS organizes at Lycabettus Theater an unforgettable event dedicated to the composer Antonis Mitzelos, who celebrated 20 years of presence in the music industry. Eleftheria Arvanitaki, Lavrentis Mahairitsas, Yannis Kotsiras and 5000 friends accompanied him on this wonderful live performance.

In October 2000, CHRONOS ART PRODUCTIONS is in charge of the opening ceremony of the first Pan-European Athletic Meeting of Kidney patients at the Stadio Eirinis & Filias, in cooperation with the General Secretariat of Sports, the Ministry of Health and Welfare and the Prefecture of Athens. It was a brilliant ceremony with folk dancing, fireworks and a spectacular concert with Giorgos Andreou, Christos Thivaiou, Lavrentis Machairitsas, Dimitris Basis, Dionysis Tsaknis, Eleni Tsaligopoulou, Theodosia Tsatsou and Antonis Mitzelos.

A turning point of CHRONOS ART PRODUCTIONS in the cultural life of Europe has been the production and organization - for the third consecutive time - of the great Pan-European Tour of Haris Alexiou in the most important European concert halls during the spring of 2001, which was a real triumph and has received rave reviews in all European press.

In the summer of 2001 CHRONOS ART PRODUCTIONS promotes the live summer Tour of Yannis Savvidakis and Antonis Mitzelos all over Greece.

In December 2001 CHRONOS ART PRODUCTIONS presents a great show at the Gialyno Moussiko Theatro with Yannis Savvidakis, Marina Skiadaresi, Antonis Mitzelos, and the amazing duo Christoforo Zaraliko and Kostas Papageorgiou, the most authentic and the most recognizable voices of Stand up Comedy in Greece, a different and very entertaining show.

In the summer of 2002, CHRONOS ART PRODUCTIONS handles the very important and successful summer tour of "Iro - Eleni Peta" with 30 concerts in Greece and Cyprus. A tour that broke all records of Tickets during that memorable summer!
In September 2002, our office undertakes the production organization and the promotion of the Festival of the Municipality of Vrilissia. Within the context of this cooperation, CHRONOS ART PRODUCTIONS has the overall responsibility for selecting the artists, advertising, attracting sponsorships and sponsors, and the overall promotion in the media sector. Over 10,000 people visited this festival as a whole.

In July 2002 an important artistic moment for us is the realization of an unprecedented concert in the Castle of Antirrio, which was part of the celebrations for the inauguration of the Rion-Antirion Bridge with the participation of Alkisti Protopsalti, Lavrentis Machairitsas and the music group Ichodrasi of Nikos Touliatos. The unique concert attracted more than 6000 people.

In December 2002, CHRONOS ART PRODUCTIONS is responsible for the organization of "The Festival of Angels 2002", which takes place every year at the Municipality of Thessaloniki and opens the curtain to the Christmas festivities. At this event were present many distinguished artists like Iro, Eleni Peta, the Ble, Yiannis Vardis as well as the Philharmonic orchestra of the municipality. It was an amazing night that was attended by 70 000 Thessalonians amid fireworks, balloons and show-ray laser.

The event could be seen live on TV 100 channel which broadcasted live. At the same time, CHRONOS ART PRODUCTIONS is in charge of the artistic direction and production management of the program of Gialino Moussiko Thatro presenting the explosive Ble, Eleni Peta and the memorable successes of Nikos Ziogalas.

In March 2004, CHRONOS ART PRODUCTIONS organizes a unique concert of Alkisti Protopsalti in one of the most famous theaters in Europe, the Cirque Royal in Brussels. Together is the band Ichodrasi of Nikos Touliatos.This unique event was praised by all the Belgian press.

CHRONOS ART PRODUCTIONS is particularly proud to collaborate with the Orchestra "Mikis Theodorakis" to present the project "Ta tragoudia tou erota kai tis agapis- Songs of Love" at the Herod Atticus Theatre on 22 & 23 May 2005, in presence of greatest Greek artists, Nena Venetsanou, the internationally renowned soprano Sonia Theodoridou, Lavrentis Mahairitsas and Dimitris Basis, along with the Symphonic Orchestra of ERT, the ERT Choir and the Orchestra Mikis Theodorakis.
Another important stage in the career of CHRONOS ART PRODUCTIONS is the cooperation with our distinguished composer Mimis Plessas. During the summer of 2005, CHRONOS ART PRODUCTIONS promotes with great success the Tour of our great composer throughout Greece. This Tour was dedicated to all the artistic work of Mimis Plessas, involving substantial and appreciated performers such as Kostas Hatzis, Mairi Linda, Zoe Kouroukli and many other artists who have collaborated in the past with the composer.
In the summer of 2005 CHRONOS ART PRODUCTIONS is in charge of the promotion, the communication, the finding of sponsors and sponsorship for the 5th Festival of Religious Music of Patmos, which takes place from 3 to 11September 2005. This is an internationally renowned Festival in which participate ensembles from Greece (Maria Farantouri, Kratiki Orchistra of Athens.) and abroad (choir Corale Polifonica di Grottaferrata from Italy, Kratiki Orchestra of Cyprus, Orchestra Camerata Concertone from Kazakhstan) with sounds directly connected and inspired by the Christian Faith. The place of the venue was the specially designed exterior area of the Holy Cave of the Apocalypse.

In September 2005 CHRONOS ART PRODUCTIONS is really honored to handle the exclusive management and operation of the Archives of "Dimitri Rontiris" the greatest and most famous teacher of Ancient Greek Drama and Greek theater. This man honored our country with his art around the world. In an effort to enhance the sublime work of Dimitris Rontiris many events are planned, including exhibitions, performances, book publishing, CD rom, DVD.

Since September 2005 CHRONOS ART PRODUCTIONS is exclusively in charge of all productions, management and representation of the great Greek artist, Babis Stokas, the founder and singer of Pyx Lax, the most popular band of all time in Greece with sales exceeding 3.5 million records.

In 15 December 2005 CHRONOS ART PRODUCTIONS presents in Zygos a brilliant performance "All that Jazz" by the distinguished composer Mimis Plessas in collaboration with renowned European jazz band Jurriaan Berger Quartet from the Netherlands.

In December 2005 CHRONOS ART PRODUCTIONS presents Babis Stokas and his new band" Shedio GAMMA for 20 unforgettable nights "at" Archtektoniki ". They left the best impression to the audience while putting in evidence the new musical style of Babis Stokas.

Late May Babis Stokas together with Shedio GAMMA come back at Architektoniki in order to close with the best possible way the year's winter appearances.

In May 2006 CHRONOS ART PRODUCTIONS organizes and presents the new album of Babis Stokas at Mylos of Thessaloniki, a magical evening that will remain unforgettable to the people who had the chance to be there. CHRONOS ART PRODUCTIONS promotes during the summer of 2006 a series of concerts of Babis Stokas and his associates all over Greece. The best part is the concert of Babis Stokas in September 8, 2006 at the Lycabettus Theater with the participation of Stamatis Kraounakis, Lavrentis Machairitsas Melina Aslanidou, Ypogeia revmata and Kitrina Podilata, attended by thousands of spectators. Our office undertakes for year 2006, with great pleasure and success, the production of the Tour of Haris Alexiou abroad in the major world music scene ... Zaragoza - Lorca - Madrid - Istanbul - Bodrum - Cesme - Paris - Brussels The Hague - London - Frankfurt - Nuremberg - Berlin – Stuttgart.

In November 2006 CHRONOS ART PRODUCTIONS presents for the first time on the stage of ZYGOS an amazing musical association : the traditional song and lute of Michali Tzouganaki together with the Rock style and the guitar of Babis Stokas. Anything can happen when there is love for music, dedication and inspiration!
 In October 2007 CHRONOS ART PRODUCTIONS successfully takes over the European Tour of Anna Vissi in many major cities of Europe, with great TV coverage by all Greek and foreign television channels

In December 2007 CHRONOS ART PRODUCTIONS organizes the performances of Babis Stokas in his favorite rock venue, Architektoniki.

In February 2008 CHRONOS ART PRODUCTIONS is in charge of the artistic direction and production of Babis Stoka’s programme who performs on the stage of the historic ZOOM, and presents for the first time in his career, his own subversive programme without clichés and conventions . A musical performance specifically designed for the ZOOM with unpredictable and favorite songs. The show goes on for another month at Sfendona because of the enormous impact it had on Athenian audience. This show was recorded and released in July 2008 on a double CD entitled "Tragoudiste, min drepeste”

In the summer of 2008 CHRONOS ART PRODUCTIONS starts, in collaboration with the office «Four seasons» the organization and producing of the Tour of Haris Alexiou, together with Babis Stokas and Andrianna Babali throughout Greece and also abroad. On October 7, 2008 our office is responsible for the concert of Eleftheria Arvanitaki, who came back in Brussels after many years, along with her great musicians, at Cirque Royal in Brussels.

In November - December 2008, CHRONOS ART PRODUCTIONS handles the winter Tour of Babis Stokas throughout Greece (Larissa, Karditsa, Ioannina, Serres, Athens ...).

In 2010 CHRONOS ART PRODUCTIONS is exclusively in charge of the great artist Vassilis Kazoulis and makes a series of important concerts in Greece (Heraklion, Kos, Kalymnos, Alexandroupolis, Thessaloniki, Volos, Drama, Serres, Didimoticho, Xanthi, ...) to celebrate the 25 years of the artist's presence in the Greek music industry. In October 2010 CHRONOS ART PRODUCTIONS presents for the first time Lavrentis Machairitsas to the public abroad (Brussels - Antwerp - Luxembourg) with three Sold Out concerts.

In March 2011 CHRONOS ART PRODUCTIONS presents for the first time in Brussels the brilliant Greek composer Stamatis Kraounakis at the Palais des Beaux-Arts, another successful production of CHRONOS ART PRODUCTIONS abroad.

On June 29, 2011 at Technopolis, we organize a big concert of Vassilis Kazoulis for his 25 years of presence in the Greek music industry, along with his friends: Vasilis Papaconstantinou Lavrentis Machairitsas, Filippos Pliatsikas, Pantelis Thalassinos, Dionysis Tsaknis, Yannis Zouganeli,s Yannis Miliokas Dimitris Starovas, Nikos Ziogala, Kitrina Podilata, Yannis Nikolaou, Antonis Mitzelos and Panagiotis Margaris and thousands of fans who never stopped singing with them.

In the summer of 2011 CHRONOS ART PRODUCTIONS presents across Greece with great success Lavrentis Machairitsas. Giannis Zouganelis, Dimitris Starovas, Panagiotis Margaris and Zinovia Arvanitidis, these are outstanding performances with thousands of fans.

The first two months of 2012, CHRONOS ART PRODUCTIONS presents Vassili Kazoulis at Stavros tou Notou Pluswith great success. Together perform also Zinovia Arvanitidi and Kostas Chronopoulos.

CHRONOS ART PRODUCTIONS AT KALLIMARMARO STADIUM

In the context of our activities CHRONOS ART PRODUCTIONS undertook to organize the production of a new double album of Lavrentis Machairitsas entitled: "Oi Aggeloi zoun akomi sti Mesogeio/Angels are still living in the Mediterranean" a unique album involving - for the first time- 17 foreign and Greek artists. The album was released by MINOS - EMI in April 2012.

As part of this unique project, a breathtaking concert of Lavrentis Machairitsas was held at the Panathenaiko - Kallimarmaro Stadium on Monday, July 9, 2012 which was attended by 50. 000 spectators. "We are all Greeks." . . This is the way Greek and foreign artists welcomed the audience at this unique concert of CHRONOS ART PRODUCTIONS. 50,000 people praised Lavrentis Machairitsas and his extraordinary guest’s artists like: Salvatore Adamo, Angelo Branduardi, Tonino Carotone, Christophe, Bernard Lavilliers, Nomadi, Piluka Aranguren, Josep Tero, Nikos Aliagas, Eleonora Zouganeli, Vasilis Papaconstantinou, Miltos Paschalidis, Filippos Pliatsikas, Dionysis Savvopoulos, Dionysis Tsaknis, Maria Farantouri.

Three generations of Greek clapped and cheered for all these artists on stage. They sang along with them practically on every song. 50,000 people reminded the culture of this country. This concert of CHRONOS ART PRODUCTIONS was the biggest and the most expensive Greek production which was ever made, a production for which more than 150 people worked incredibly hard to Succeed. During fall 2012, CHRONOS ART PRODUCTIONS is preparing the European Tour of Yannis Kotsiras which will start on 20 March 2013 in Brussels.

CHRONOS ART PRODUCTIONS IN 2013

On March of 2013, “CHRONOS ART PRODUCTIONS” organized an unique and memorable concert of Yannis Kotsiras in a sold out Cirque Royal at Brussels ... a night no one is going to ever forget!!!

In July 2013, CHRONOS ART PRODUCTIONS, presented the new talented songwriter Spyros Kavvadas: his live performance took place in a very warm and welcoming venue, called "Xytirio". During the same period and at the same venue, CHRONOS ART PRODUCTIONS, promoted the explosive and brilliant singer Rallia Christidou in an exceptional and subversive programme.

In August 2013, CHRONOS ART PRODUCTIONS promoted, with great success, Yiannis Kotsiras and Stathis Drogosis at the beautiful Baths of Tinos.

In September 2013, CHRONOS ART PRODUCTIONS presented two great musical productions to the Athenian public, the first being the " Festival " by Yiannis Kotsiras with many guests, entitled "To Mousiko Kouti -the Festival" and the second one is our own important production : the concert of Group Active Member entitled " Sing with us to leave the dark" a unique musical event with great guests from abroad, as the French Erik Truffaz, the German Jahcoustix, the great Hungarian Veronika Harcsa but also beloved Greek artists such as Eleni Vitali and Yiannis Kotsiras .

In November 2013, CHRONOS ART PRODUCTIONS plans a European tour of Philippas Pliatsikas, along with his great friends/artists like Nikos Portokaloglou , Eleonora Zouganeli Georgia Dagaki and the unique Liset Alea, the voice of the band «Nouvelle Vague». This Tour is called «Τhe other side of Greece», a show in which Philippas Pliatsikas will do a "cultural attack " aimed at recommending and reminding that Greece continues to produce ideas, wisdom, art and culture. Something he always did . A different side of Greece which is unnoticeable abroad due to the blur of defamation and disinformation.
